~ Interactive Planning Guide Makes Selling WeddingMoons® Even Easier for Travel Agents ~ 

Sandals Resorts is continuing to develop more innovative ways to make planning a WeddingMoon® or ReTie the Knot® celebration an inspirational and fun journey for travel agents and their clients with the introduction of the new Sandals Wedding Planning Guide.  This beautifully designed 62-page interactive document is available for download or can be shared via a link, and contains every detail a guest would want to know about the Sandals WeddingMoon® program, including pricing, inclusions, design themes, wedding planning services and more. 

The interactive nature of the document acts similarly to a digital brochure with easy navigation functions.  The planning guide includes a table of contents with links to different sections as well as links to appendixes with more information, so brides can easily access the information they need with the click of a button.  The Sandals Wedding Planning Guide can be viewed and downloaded to a computer, tablet or mobile phone.

Following a multi-million dollar renovation project, Sandals Resorts International (SRI), parent company of Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts, announces the re-launch of Sandals’ largest and Jamaica’s newest resort to date, Sandals Ochi Beach Resort.  Previously known as Sandals Grande Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort, the completely renovated resort was rebuilt to offer a dynamic beach experience complete with stylish beach club vibes, chic exclusivity and innovative culinary concepts. Sandals Ochi Beach Resort will debut a fresh, modern design aesthetic along with seven uniquely new Gourmet Discovery Dining options, a fresh, trendy Ochi Beach Club, reinvented resort entertainment, upgraded luxurious accommodations and more.

Gourmet Discovery Dining: Sandals Ochi Beach Resort offers the most comprehensive dining program in Jamaica with 16 restaurants spanning all corners of the culinary globe and 11 bars throughout the resort.  Its Gourmet Discovery Dining program offers a complete immersion into the flavors of other cultures.  Among these restaurants, Sandals Ochi Beach Resort is debuting new concepts for the entire brand including Southern, tapas and a speakeasy bar.  Restaurants include Tapas on the Riviera, an international tapas restaurant; Le Gourmand, a high-end French restaurant; Sky, a seafood beachside restaurant; The Southern Table, featuring Southern soulful cooking; Ocean, a beach bar reminiscent of the South of France; Jerk Shack, featuring authentic and casual Jamaican Jerk; and The Rabbit Hole, a new speakeasy bar.  Continuing to enhance its extensive culinary experience a step further, Sandals Ochi Beach Resort will serve Robert Mondavi Wines, a new partnership for the brand.  Through the collaboration with the award-winning Napa Valley vineyard, guests will enjoy an expanded complimentary wine list as well as an enhanced Manager’s Wine List and on-resort programming including wine pairings and wine tastings.

THE SANDALS FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH AML FOODS LIMITED AND DAIRY QUEEN LIMITED IN THE BAHAMAS TO HELP EMPOWER YOUNG WOMEN IN NEED

 The Sandals Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Sandals Resorts International, has launched a Checkout Giving fundraising campaign with AML Foods Limited, the innovative Bahamian Company committed to delivering a full line of high quality consumer products with superior service at competitive prices to support the Providing Access to Continued Education (P.A.C.E.) program and help to change the lives and futures of young women in The Bahamas affected by teen pregnancy.  Kicking off on April 1, 2015 for 45 days, customers at select Solomon’s Super Centers, Solomon’s Fresh Markets, and Cost Right Wholesale Clubs  within The Bahamas will be invited to make a $1 donation or more to the Sandals Foundation benefitting P.A.C.E at the point of sale. 

Staying committed to P.A.C.E.’s mission of hope and inspiration, the Checkout Giving campaign will further promote awareness of teenage pregnancy specifically within the Bahamas, where over 500 teenagers become pregnant every year, and ways of countering it. Through this local appeal, funds raised from the campaign will be used to expand P.A.C.E.’s existing facility into a larger, state‐of-the‐art learning center with additional resources. Additionally, these vast upgrades will enable greater content to be developed, improve vocational training. The new, larger facility will be able to accommodate additional students.

Also commencing on April 1^st and running through June 30th, select Dairy Queen restaurants within Nassau will contribute $3.00 to the P.A.C.E. program in partnership with the Sandals Foundation, for every ice-cream cake purchased in-store at regular price. Participating locations include: Harbour Bay, Mall at Marathon, South West Plaza and Cable Beach. 

“Teenage pregnancy remains a huge problem in the Bahamas and we are pleased to partner with the AML Foods Family of brands, as well as Dairy Queen Limited, to help raise awareness and garner funds in support of P.A.C.E.” said Heidi Clarke, Director of Programs. “Through their staff, patrons and shareholders we are excited about the potential to help raise the money needed to complete the new building and offer these young girls a permanent home and, with it, the brighter future they deserve.”
